Following the success of other Kenyan movies such as Something Necessary, Nairobi Half Life and Wrong turn, it seems like the movie industry in Kenya is finally taking off. Imax Kenya recently announced that they will be airing Brian Munene's short film called Between the lines.
|
The movie which is directed by Likarion Wainaina and produced by Bruce Makau and Brian Munene under their production company Kibanda Pictures, will be the first Kenyan film to be shown on Imax Kenya screens.
Between The Lines is based on what I would say true life events which happen on a day to day basis in the production world, the film tells a story of love on a production set, love between co-actors and the director |
who wants to take sexual advantage of an actress who is trying to make it in the entertainment industry.
Between The Lines stars Brian Muinene, Sam Psenjen, Temko Lavinda and Shiviske Shivisi.
The film which was shot by a Canon 5D Mark ii is part of Club Sinema project, and will be showcased all through the month of April before any of its movies are shown, so if you are planing on going to see a movie on Imax this month, then be prapared to watch Between the lines.
Club Sinema offers a platform for actors, directors, cinematographers, writers and gaffers together to showcase their work
