Simiyu Samurai is Arguably the only Marshal arts TV series which has been produced by Kenyans. Its really had to find Kenyan producers who are willing to try and explore new ideas in ways of producing and coming up with concepts for TV series and movies.

The Simiyu Samurai sees, Simiyu Samarui who is born and raised in Japan coming home back to his rural home in Kenya, this is after his parents life were cut short in a tragic tsunami. The series sees Simiyu Samurai living with his grandmother and niece in the humble village of Bukuluku.
Here Simiyu Samurai is placed in a world full of violence which are brought about by evil gangs who have political connections. When his grandmother’s livelihood is threatened, he is forced to act to protect the only family he has left. |
Simiyu Samurai will be forced to use his martial Arts skills that he acquired in Japan so as to bring down the evil gang and bring peace back into his village.
the cast of Simiyu Samurai is impressive as well, below checkout the main cast of Simiyu Samurai, which I believe will be a hit show once it hits the local TV stations.
